Our price checker app pulls from the largest North American Product database and will deliver the best results for USA/Canada users. There are over 274 million products in the database we pull from. Unfortunately, not every product makes it to the UPC database. Some manufacturers and distributors don't add their products to the UPC universal database to save on their product roll out. This is especially true for generic products that are sold in only one chain (Walmart brand, Kroger Brand, Home Depot Brand, etc.) Also some UPC barcodes for older products may be reused. The availability of the product in the UPC database is not in our control. Please do not leave a negative review if some of the products you scan do not exist in the database as it is not a failure of the app, but rather the failure of the product manufacturer/distributor.

Our goal with this price scanning app is to help shoppers save money on their everyday purchases and shop smarter when it is time for bigger ticket purchases. With our price comparison tool our hope is that our users will be empowered to save products to their wish list when they find competitive offers and ask for either a price match in store or purchase later for a lower price with another vendor. The Smash Price Finder/price checker app is intended for North American buyers. We are currently working on integrating new databases in order to serve users outside of North America with a global price compare app.
